Very good value. Nice, clean room; comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast with a really good choice. Not often in a B&B you get a choice of Eggs Benedict for breakfast. Very friendly and helpful.
Dislikes:
Cannot find fault with Herne Lea, but limited parking, as on main road but you can pull up outside, dump the bags, and then park in nearby (free overnight) Car Park.

A warm welcome to Herne Lea. We have recently refurbished our elegant Edwardian house and installed modern facilities whilst retaining the character of the property. Situated in this pretty market town, whether your visit is for business or pleasure, we are confident you will not be disappointed.
We are situated in a good position for access to many West Country attractions. Having lived and worked in the area for most of our lives we have a good local knowledge and are always pleased to share some of this with residents. From mystical Glastonbury Tor, historical Wells, and castles in Dunster and Taunton. Manor houses such as Tyntesfield, Montacute or Barrington Court - to a day's discovery at The Fleet Air Arm Museum or adventure at Cheddar Caves and Gorge, you will never be wondering what to do in Somerset.
Breakfast is served in our dining room between 8.00 and 10.00 am and is included in the price of the room. A good choice is available including a full West Country cooked breakfast using local, free range produce. Our new conservatory is available for residents to rest and enjoy the view.
