The owner Heather was lovely and very accommodating, she also serves up a great breakfast.The hotel itself is in the most beautiful setting.
Dislikes:
The only thing we would have preferred is the room with the free standing bath. I think it doses cost slightly more but i would say it is worth paying the extra so that you can fully relax.

Thank you for your comments, perhaps if you had discussed the rooms with me before you booked, I may have been able to advise you which would suit your requirements best.I cannot understand your comments about the en suite because many previous guests have told me it is the best shower they have ever had in a B& B!!

The furniture was pleasingly antique. The mattress on the bed was presumably modern, but a bit too firm for my taste.

Please be assured that the mattresses are all new and conform to all the safety standards required,If your booking had not been so last minute (hence my last room!) I would have tried to place you in a different room but I do apologise for you being disturbed, that is one of the few things I have little control over. I do hope your daughter settles at University and hope to see you again.

Guests who decide to stay at Higher Farm have the choice of 4 luxury en suite bedrooms to choose from, ranging from smaller double rooms to a large downstairs double room or a super de luxe room complete with a double slipper bath for that extra bit of pampering! Home grown or locally produced food is lovingly home cooked and served at individual tables overlooking rolling fields and the Welsh Hills in the distance. The views from Higher Farm are really outstanding no matter what the season or weather. The beautiful farm building which has been renovated has been treated with great consideration and many original features have been preserved or even enhanced. If you decide to stay at Higher Farm, you are sure to want to return time and again as many of our guests already do!
