In the beautiful open countryside, Highview Country House is the ideal place for peace and tranquillity. Set on the edge of the attractive, quiet village of Kirk Merrington, only two minutes walk from public houses offering food.
Nearby there are good local walks, leisure centres, fishing and golf. Only ten minutes from the A1M motorway (junction 60), it allows easy access to explore the Northeast of England. Famous castles, museums, waterfalls, world heritage sites and tourist attraction Beamish are all within comfortable driving distance. The beautiful historic city of Durham with Durham Cathedral and Castle is a ten minute drive.
Rooms all have en-suite shower rooms, hospitality trays, televisions with DVD or video players and fridges. The walls are adorned with Origional contemporary Art Work by Jayne Parker Johnson. There is plenty of off road parking on the Guesthouse premises.
