Local attractions include Thetford Forest, Peddars Way, Oxborough Hall (National Trust), Iceni Village, Castle Acre (English Heritage), and Gooderstone Water Gardens. The North Norfolk Coast and Sandringham are both within easy reach as is Norwich.

The inn had a cosy feel and was very welcoming. This meant that I did not feel uncomfortable eating dinner alone. The food was lovely and very good value.

Come and stay at The Swan to unwind and relax.
The nine en suite rooms, combining period charm with modern facilities, include a family room, singles, twins and doubles. Four rooms on the ground floor are suitable for less mobile guests.
There are also four 2-bedroomed self-contained apartments, which provide an ideal base to visit this wonderful area.
We have all the charm of a traditional English pub, with exposed beams, white washed walls and, of course, a well stocked bar of real ales, lagers and much more.
The menu includes good home cooked dishes with the majority of our food being sourced locally and every Sunday we offer a very popular carvery.
The Swan Inn is an ideal base for exploring the treasures of Norfolk. Local attractions include Thetford Forest where you will find the High Lodge Centre offering bike hire, GoApe (high-ropes course) and marked trails ideal for cyclists and walkers. The national trail, Peddars Way can also be joined nearby. Explore traditional market towns, picturesque villages and the many nature reserves. Golf, fishing and horse riding facilities available locally. Other local attractions include Oxborough Hall (National Trust), Iceni Village, Castle Acre (English Heritage) and Gooderstone Water Gardens. The North Norfolk Coast and Sandringham are both within easy reach as are Norwich and Bury St Edmunds.
