Whether it be Bed and Breakfast at Huish Moor, or self-catering in "The Shippen" it is our intention that your stay will be a memory to treasure. We enjoy living here; we are sure you will enjoy visiting. Huish Moor was originally a smallholding farm dating back to the 18th century comprising a farmhouse and two barns. In 2000 these buildings underwent a transformation and have been tastefully and comfortably converted whilst maintaining historic charm. Situated in an attractive hillside position with magnificent far reaching views over the estuary of the River Taw to Saunton Down and also up to the hills of Exmoor. The sandy beach of Instow is only 2 ½ miles away.

Bed & Breakfast: A double/twin bedroom with dressing room and en-suite bathroom with bath and shower; A double bedroom with adjoining bathroom with bath and shower; A single room with additional pull out bed; A private sitting room is available for B&B guests use.

Self Catering: This was originally the feeding barn which has been converted to provide comfortable accommodation sleeping up to 7. It has a very spacious living area with wonderful far reaching views, a well equipped kitchen and is of a high standard throughout.

Fishing: Tim, your host, is a passionate fly fisherman who offers a full guiding and tuition service for salmon, sea trout and brown trout on the North Devon rivers. He specialises in night fishing forays for sea trout, one of the most exciting and challenging fishing experiences.
Environmental Statement
Our policy is to be as enviromentally friendly as possible in all aspects of our B&B and Self catering hosting.
