Welcome to Kellah Farm, an ideal base for exploring Hadrian’s Wall Country. Whether you’re looking for a modern farmhouse Bed & Breakfast or a traditional self-catering cottage, Kellah provides comfortable accommodation in a peaceful countryside setting.

Kellah has been a small hamlet since 1402 and has been farmed by our family for over 160 years. We are a working hill farm, breeding beef cattle and Scottish Blackface sheep.

Farmhouse breakfasts using all locally sourced produce including our own free-range eggs, comfortable accommodation, a warm welcome and stunning views of the Northumbrian countryside is our recipe for a relaxing stay at Kellah Bed and Breakfast Accommodation.

The five en-suite bedrooms are in a newly refurbished self contained unit that used to be The Pitman’s Arms public house, before it closed in the late 1900’s. Each room is furnished to a high standard in the character of a country farmhouse. A separate bathroom is available for anyone who prefers to soak in the bath after a long day's walking. Water is heated by solar panels and provides plenty of hot water for baths and showers.

Farmhouse breakfasts, including a vegetarian option, are served in the double dining room. The large lounge with its black-range fireplaces, TV, DVD and children’s games are available for guests use at any time. Guests can relax outside on the stone flagged patio area.

A laundry and boot drying room is available for our guests' convenience, as we are in a fantastic walking

Our three "4 star" self-catering holiday cottages were previously miner’s smallholdings and still have many of the original features,
open fires, beamed ceilings and walled gardens. All 3 cottages have 2 bedrooms sleeping up to 6 people in the largest, all have digital TV, washing machines, electric cookers, microwaves and fridge-freezers.

For children we have a playarea with slides, climbing frame and swings also a games room with a pool table.
