We arrived to a very warm greeting from Paul who made us tea and coffee and then took our cases to our room as we wanted to go straight into Torquay. We had booked the large double which is a super room with everthing you need to enjoy your stay. Tea/coffee/biscuits and the mints in our room were replenished every day and there is a wide choice of breakfast options. We chose the full english and it is absolutely delicious, probably one of the best I have ever been served in any hotel. Read less

I must say that we loved everything about The Kings Lodge in Torquay. This was our second visit and as always Paul was the perfect host. We will be returning next year.

The Kings Lodge is a Victorian house sits in a tree lined avenue set in the heart of the English Riviera. Our 4 star guest accommodation offers bed and breakfast with optional evening meals in Torquay, Devon with many amenities nearby. We have 7 bedrooms all en-suite made up of single, twin, double and family rooms, two are on the ground floor. We offer a quality, locally sourced produce breakfast where ever possible, along with comfortable bed and en-suite facilities.
You can sit in our patio garden with a cool drink from our bar where we serve local beers and ciders along with other premium drinks and watch the world go by. We also serve freshly ground coffee and Devon cream teas too.
Please Note: We are a Non-smoking accommodation. Sorry but for allergies reasons pets are not permitted anywhere on the premises. Some off street parking facilities available. Check-in time from: 14:30 check-out time: 10:30
