The attention to detail was fantastic- we had everything we needed and more.
From the moment we go there we felt very welcomed by all the family. The room was clean, comfortable with a great view.

The Kingsholm is a fine Edwardian house offering excellent bed & breakfast accommodation in beautiful surroundings. It is situated in a conservation area, with many rooms overlooking the ornamental trees of Torwood Gardens. The Kingsholm is located over 3 floors and has 9 En-Suite bedrooms all decorated and furnished to a high standard. All bedrooms have freeview TV's, free Wi-Fi, hairdryers and hospitality trays. There is also an elegant guest lounge, spacious dining room with a separate table for each room and licensed bar. The owners, June and Carl offer a friendly home from home welcome.
The Kingsholm is in the heart of the English Riviera and the world class Geopark. It is conveniently located, only 5 minutes walk from Torquay's bustling harbour and Torquay town centre with its many restaurants, cafes and bars. Torquay Museum, Kent’s Cavern, and the Torquay Riviera Centre are all within easy walking distance. The holiday resort of Paignton and the quaint fishing village of Brixham are both a short drive away.
Our aim is to make your stay a pleasurable one. Being a small family run business means you will receive a friendly personal service with attention to detail at all times. From the moment we carry your luggage to your room you can start to relax and enjoy your stay.
We have free guest car parking with a space for each room.
The hotel is only suitable for children 10+ years.
