Breakfast was very good. Good select to choose from hot and cold, if you wanted more or something else was not a problem. Staff was friendly. The Kiwi Hotel has been owned and managed by the same family for over forty years. It is a 2 star hotel offering friendly service, excellent food in our fully licensed restaurant and warm comfortable rooms.
Offering a superb location, only 100m to the seafront and 4/5 minutes stroll to the centre of town with many attractions including 2 cinemas, 3 theatres, numerous restaurants, clubs and bars. A perfect touring base for the New Forest, the 'World Heritage Coast', historic Portsmouth, through to 'Hardy's Wessex. Bournemouth Airport is just 5 miles away and the mainline rail station is just 1 mile. Along the coast we have Southampton in one direction and Poole Harbour just 20 minutes in the other. Further afield is Longleat Safari park (1 hours drive).
The Kiwi is totally smoke free although we do have provisions for smokers available outside. We have ample FREE parking for your stay, and we actively cater for special diets by arrangement. There is a separate child's menu, along with high chairs and child-friendly distraction packs which means, you can relax and wind down at the end of the day. We know from customer feedback that our standards of service and the quality of our food is of the highest standard, which is the reason so many guests return every year.
