Lifton Hall is a Grade II listed building dating from the 16th Century that combines traditional character with modern refurbishments including wireless internet. Ideally situated for exploring the area, we are just 5 minutes from Thushel River and close to various lakes for fishing, watersports and in season both shooting and hunting are available.
The old market town Launceston is only 5-10 minutes drive whilst both The Eden Project and the north coast can be reached within 45 minutes. Bodmin Moor and Dartmooor are under 30 minutes drive. For golf enthusiasts there are dozens of courses in the area, with the closest 10-15 minutes drive away. We currently offer the ‘Out To Play Golf’ scheme with two green fees for the price of one.
Our bar has loads of traditional charm, including two open fires, and is the perfect place to enjoy an ale and some freshly cooked food. We have two outside seating areas where you can sit and enjoy a cream tea or a glass of chilled wine. Free wireless internet in most rooms and all communal areas. Free parking.
Environmental Statement
Where possible we always try to recycle our waste products, and currently this includes: paper, cardboard, plastic and glass. We are looking at environmental ways of heating the hotel and reducing our carbon footprint. As a Grade 2 listed building this is proving difficult at present.We are awaiting assessment from the Green Tourism Business Scheme.
