As a basic B&B type accomodation this totally fulfilled my needs for this visit. I wanted centrally located, reasonably priced accomodation with parking facilities. The Market House Inn fulfilled this need. As a senior manager I have stayed at some quite expensive hotels and the Market House Inn is certainly not in that category; but as a B&B with parking facilities it was peperfect for my needs for this visit.

I liked the central location, just across the road from Glastonbury Abbey. The staff were very helpful and amenable.
Dislikes:
There is obviously a downside to being located above a public house, but as I was out celebrating myself this weekend, this caused me no problems whatsoever.

Dislikes:
The ensuite room consisted of a small shower room with poor water pressure and loose taps. The room had no double glazing and faced the main street so quiet noisy. The decor was dated & the bed broken

Deep in the heart of beautiful Somerset is the historical and mystical town of Glastonbury, where this family-run inn nestles in the shadow of the Abbey Ruins and is overlooked by the magical Glastonbury Tor. The pub is centrally located in a bustling part of the town and has a bar and garden which is open to the public.
We offer warm, clean, comfortable rooms for the weary traveller. The Market House Inn is an entertaining hotspot with a wonderful atmosphere. As well as accommodation, it has a restaurant where breakfast is served, a bar and plenty of live entertainment. Long term accommodation is available. We have a total of eight letting rooms; six of which have shared bathroom facilities. Our one en-suite room and one family room with private bathroom overlook our popular garden and at weekends are ideal for visitors wishing to fully participate in the active social life of this busy town centre inn. If you like to sleep at 11.30; this is not the place for you, as on Friday, Saturday and Sunday the garden is open until after midnight. Midweek is more suitable for those looking for a quiet break.
The Market House Inn has a well used, award winning (beer) garden, restaurant, pool table, skittle alley, live music, and a very warm welcome. Car-parking is available in the public carpark direcetly opposite the front of the hotel and is free from 6.00pm to 9.00am
