We thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful, relaxed, friendly atmosphere at the farm. The cottage was also an ideal base for visiting family in the Wirral. We also managed to visit Chester Zoo, Lego Discovery Centre in Manchester, Hack Green nuclear bunker (a highlight with our 7 year old son), the Candle Workshop, Cheshire Ice Cream Farm and Trentham Estate where we all loved the barefoot walk and monkey forest. The cottage was beautiful (exactly as shown on the website). The highlights for us were Sam the sheepdog coming to play each day and the delicious home made cake waiting for us on arrival.

I little disappointed that there were no teabags or coffee or milk on arrival.

Whether it’s an overnight stop or a week’s break, Millmoor Farm can offer you accommodation to suit your needs. As Millmoor is a working sheep and beef farm, guests may help with the calf feeding,collect the hen’s eggs for breakfast, feed the baby lambs during the lambing season and visit the rare breeds of pigs. Coarse fishing is also available.
We have 5 lovely self-catering cottages available for long and short-term stays.
