Poulton Grange is a brand new purpose built family farm house for the 21st Century. It is situated on the Marlborough Downs within an area of outstanding natural beauty at the end of a one mile long private drive. We opened for luxury farmhouse B & B on 1st September 2008 and have welcomed many visitors through the doors! Check out TripAdvisor who now rate us as the number 2 B&B in the area :-) We currently have 2 spacious guest rooms, a double and a twin/double, with stunning views. Both bedrooms have brand new en-suite facilities and lots of fluffy white towels. Each room has WiFi, DTV a hospitality tray including local beer from Ramsbury Brewery, wine & biscuits. Binocculars are also provided so that you can watch the wildlife from your windows...deer, hares, foxes and badgers along with the resident barn owl that flies past each night out hunting. Locally sourced Full English Breakfast cooked on the Aga starts the day off right....and James oftens joins guests for a chat over coffee to discuss the current state of farming...'it's just like the Archers' said a recent guest so I am still wondering if that's good or bad!. Also available is our 3 bed roomed Finnish log cabin for holiday lets and short stays.
Poulton Grange has its own water supply from an aquifer laying 150' below the chalk down land so our water is clean and sweet...when you shower or bath you can not smell the chlorine or chemicals which people have become so used to nowadays. The hot water and underfloor heating supply is eco-friendly as it is heated by a geo thermal heat source installed last year. This means the heat is picked up from water flowing through 1km of pipes we laid 1m down in the chalk...amazing! Although a spacious farmhouse it has a carbon neutral footprint and is tremendously snug in winter and airy in summer. We are situated 2 miles from Marlborough on the Mildenhall/Axford Road. Complimentary lift to local pub or Marlborough on offer.
