A small hotel with six modern guest rooms, we are a popular choice for visitors who are looking for quality and affordability. The Silverfjord guarantees a warm highland welcome, great food and spectacular local scenery.
Our restaurant is modern and informal with food to match. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere while listening to soul and jazz, check out our sample menu and look out for favourites like Parma Ham wrapped Coley fillet with a sweet chilli and mango glaze or Roasted Pork Fillet on roast garlic mash with an apple and cloudy cider sauce.
Where possible we source all our ingredients locally, and within season.
Eat in our lounge bar for good pub grub, from delicious beer battered fish and chips to local steak and ale pie. Regular entertainment includes live bands and Sky Sports, the only place in Kingussie to watch the footie, or other sporting events.
Fancy something to drink? Try a real ale from local brewery Cairngorm, or for the more adventurous, a beer from around the world. Enjoy a dram from our range of single malt whiskies, or a bottle of wine from our carefully selected and fully tried and tested wine list!
