Response from Spring Lodge:
Glad you enjoyed your stay. I probably didn't feel the chill in my short sleeved t-shirt as I had been out sweeping the leaves off the path and had been brain washed by the weathermen saying temperatures would be above the average for that time of the year. We look forward to seeing you again.

Spring Lodge is an elegant Edwardian townhouse dating from 1905 offering comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation in central Harrogate. Our guest house is in a quiet cul-de-sac very close to Harrogate Conference Centre and a few minutes walk from the centre of Harrogate, Yorkshire's famous spa town. We provide parking permits free of charge-useful in a Victorian town which was built before cars were invented!

We pride ourselves on offering a warm friendly and relaxed bed and breakfast service to our guests, who often comment how quiet it is here-there is no traffic noise, yet we are so close to town and are ideally situated for both the business visitor attending a conference, and the tourist visitor wishing to explore the delights of Harrogate and the glorious countryside of the Yorkshire Dales.

We have been looking after conference, business and tourist visitors to Harrogate for 16 years and can offer a wealth of local information and free wireless internet along with our renowned breakfasts!

Harrogate is an elegant, renowned spa town, with beautiful architecture dating mainly from the Victorian and Edwardian era.

It is also the home of Harrogate International Centre, which hosts many conferences and exhibitions throughout the year.

The town is a fascinating blend of old and new. It has historical buildings such as the Turkish Baths and the Royal Hall-both have been recently restored to their original splendour-and excellent restaurants, bars, cafes and shops- both traditional and contemporary- to suit all tastes.

All this is surrounded by the Stray- a large expanse of green space set aside in centuries past for ‘recreation' for the people of Harrogate and their visitors, and protected in law to this day from being built on.
