We stayed at the Stonegarth for 2 nights in early November, the purpose of which was to celebrate my birthday with a short leisure break.
We were warmly welcomed by the owners even though it was our first visit to the Stonegarth.
What we appreciated is the car park for guests at the Stonegarh, as the area around the guest house tend to be very congested with cars making parking on street very difficult. Read less

The location of Stonegarth is excellent being just a 2 / 3 minute stroll from Keswick town centre.
The standard of decoration, furnishings and facilities in the bedroom and bathroom were first class.
Dislikes:
My wife casually mentioned at breakfast that it was my birthday.When we returned to our room that evening we discovered that a box of chocolates had been left in the room. A gesture much appreciated.
