Dislikes:
I enjoyed the stayover very much.
Response from Tankerville Arms:
Noddy & Roy drive us all crazy, have since popped a 'ratpack' christmas CD in! Shower fitting has been passed onto the man who fixes things, and the lighting will also be addresses. Remy Martin on its way! Have a fab Christmas!

Likes:
Interesting building, with adequate car parking space, and warm welcome. Comfortable room, but had to have all lights on to be able to see (thanks to EU stupid regulations) Probably used more electric
Dislikes:
As above- dim lights!

The Tankerville Arms is a privately owned, professionally run hotel that has been a favourite destination for travellers to Northumbria since the 17th Century, and today offers comfort and modern facilities within the traditional setting of a fine country hotel.

Our 16 bedrooms are tastefully decorated in keeping with the style of the hotel, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere for a good night's sleep. All rooms have quality en-suite facilities and are equipped to the usual high standards including colour televisions, hair dryers and direct dial telephones.

The elegant Cheviot Restaurant overlooks our lovely gardens and has a relaxing atmosphere. Our first class chef uses only fresh produce to create the very best of Northumbrian fare and our varied selection of wines offers excellent value. You can also dine in the Chillingham Room which adjoins the Copper Bar where you can meet and mix with the other guests whilst enjoying a drink or a meal from our splendid bar food menu. Outside you can enjoy an al fresco drink or snack in our spacious gardens which have fine views over the surrounding countryside. Inside you can relax with afternoon tea in the Chillingham Bistro. Enjoy a pre-dinner drink in the Copper Bar with its large log fire and spoil yourself by sampling the best of local beers and real ales.
