"A Warm and Friendly Experience"
The bedroom was large with all necessary facilities for our stay, and plenty of heating when needed. The breakfast was home cooked and very tasty. All in all, The Talbot was ideal in all respects for our stay and offered excellent value for money. Very well located for visiting towns and attractions of mid Wales and Shropshire. Read less

All staff very friendly and helpful. Pub was homely and inviting, serving excellent local real ale. Very pleased to discover dinner menu contained range of vegetarian options of imaginative nature.
Dislikes:
Only the cold wet December weather, for which we do not blame the Talbot! Indeed, it made it more of a pleasure to return to the warmth of the bar and our room.
