The location was great as well, just a short walk to the main shopping street in Southport. The breakfast was delicious too, with lots of choice. Just the place for a relaxing break to re-charge the batteries, or to shop 'till you drop!

Rooms are individually styled and, linked to our Victorian heritage, named after Queen Victoria's immediate family. All our en-suite rooms are designed for comfort and tranquility using the most sumptuous mattresses, finest crisp cotton linen, softest duvets, plushest pillows and fluffiest towels we could find. After a restful night’s sleep, start the day with our renowned breakfast. Served in our stunning character dining room, you will not only be tempted by our traditional home-cooked English selection, but be spoilt for choice by an extensive menu of tasty alternatives. Wherever possible ingredients are sourced locally for quality & freshness and each serving is made to individual order.
Centrally located, we are situated between Southport's stylish shopping boulevard of Lord Street and beautiful Promenade. The railway station, Theatre and Conference Centre are only 5 minutes walk, with the beach and Splash World only a little further. If driving, Liverpool and Manchester can be reached in just 30 & 45 minutes respectively, although both are served by direct rail links and regular services so you can leave your car and see it all.
For golf enthusiasts there are five championship golf courses within 15 minutes drive, and the RSPB’s Marshside Reserve located just 10 minutes away is a thriving vantage point for casual and committed nature lovers alike. Alternatively, take advantage of our cosy lounge to relax with a drink from our honesty bar, or book an in-house Pamper Package with our beautician.

We hate waste and therefore encourage guests to join us in minimising use and helping us recycle.
All light fittings where possible have been fitted with low energy bulbs and guests are asked to turn off all lights when not in their room.
All bathrooms have been fitted with dual flush toilets and display notices encouraging guests to only ask for towel changes when neccesary.
All rooms are fitted with individual thermostats on radiators to allow guests the comfort of selecting their desired room temperature.
All newspapers, magazines, food leftovers and waste containers are recycled wherever facilities allow.
We encourage guests to leave their cars and use the local bus & train services.
