The atmosphere and the warm welcome.
Dislikes:
The other guests were very noisy early on Sunday morning and the sound proofing isn't good. I also tripped over a step into the bathroom and banged my elbow. There should be a sign.

good host, room was nice, there is a bar and resturant below, the atmosphere down there was excelent.
Dislikes:
no hairdryer in the rooms which is rare but not a major issue.

A beautifully-restored 18th century coaching inn, The Angel was originally known as the Grosvenor Arms. Prior to its construction in 1750 a medieval inn, The Angel, existed on the site. Offering many original features, wooden floors, beams, huge stone fireplace, alongside our contemporary and elegant restaurants, The Angel has a mood for everyone, whether traditional or modern.
