The evening dinner was nothing less than "superb" as we both chose different starters and main dishes which were cooked to a tee. The little selections provided by the really friendly staff made the evening complete.
This is where the hotel excels and had we had a great day. Read less

Whilst a little off the beaten track it was a lovely setting with ample car parking.
For people of our age it was a secure secluded spot which we have no hesitation in recommending. We will return.

The room was spacious and we had a separate little 'dressing room'. The bar was cosy and there was a pretty little garden to sit out in before dinner. Friendly owner and varied dinner menu.
Dislikes:
Very slow dinner service: ordered at 8.15 and got our main course at nearly 10. Apparently they were were 'short staffed' but no one bothered to explain beforehand.
