"Friendly, homely hotel"
My daughter and I stayed overnight in a twin room prior to the University College Falmouth Open day. We were made very welcome and shown the hotel facilities and how to get to the town center and also how to get to the University campus the following morning. There was a good choice for Breakfast and it was served early enough to get to the university in time. Read less

The Broadmead Hotel is a charming, privately owned hotel, offering a high standard of comfort and personal service in Falmouth. The hotel is delightfully situated overlooking the beautiful Kimberley Park, with its myriad of ever changing colours throughout the seasons, yet just a short stroll from the quayside and shops.

The restaurant enjoys an enviable reputation for excellent traditional cuisine, both locally and with visitors. The menu is varied and uses the best local produce where possible and is complemented by a carefully selected range of wines. Special diets are also catered for. Tastefully furnished throughout with a pleasant relaxed atmosphere, there are twelve individually furnished bedrooms, each with ensuite bathroom. All have remote control televisions, tea & coffee making facilities, central heating, direct dial telephone and radio.

Falmouth is really well situated for exploring this region of Cornwall and is well served by bus and train services for getting about. If you come by car, then even the most remote areas are accessible. Within about 45 minutes, you could be in Penzance, Lizard Peninsula, Lands End or visiting the Tate Gallery in St Ives. Alternatively, you could visit some of the many wonderful public gardens such as the Lost Gardens of Heligan or the truly awe inspiring Eden Project.
