It's Cheshire Country feel, open fires and excellent food served in the busy restaurant.
Dislikes:
It was a very windy night and some draught did come in via old original windows but please don't change the character of this Old School Building.

Set in quiet Cheshire countryside adjacent to the Parks and Gardens of the historic Cholmondeley Castle, the Cholmondeley Arms has justifiably been consistently voted as one of the countries truly great pubs of the Millennium. The Cholmondeley Arms provides a wide variety of choice, whether starters, main Courses or Desserts; all prepared in our Kitchen using fresh Regional produce. We have recently installed a Wireless Internet system so that you can now Browse the web from anywhere in the pub, from your Laptop or Notebook.
The Cholmondeley Arms provides a relaxing environment to enjoy the CAMRA accredited Real Ales or a selection of fine wines from around the world.
Built in 1862 as a village school it served this purpose to the Cholmondeley tenants until its closure in 1982. However, 6 years later its role changed, still creating a focal point for the Cholmondeley tenants.
The old schoolhouse was converted into a village pub. The pub still maintains many of its original features and creates a charming and characterful place to visit. The pub has been decorated with awards for its continued quality in food, drink and Accommodation.
