The Chudleigh, established by the current family in 1963, is conveniently situated near the central seafront, only a short distance from the Pier and main shopping centre. The unique architecture makes this popular GUEST ACCOMMODATION provider a landmark in the town and its amazingly quiet location, although central, certainly encourages a visitor.

The pleasantly informal service is friendly and yet attentive. An extensive breakfast menu, cooked to order, using local sourced produce is available in the attractively furnished dining room.

Superior accommodation is offered to both leisure and business visitors in immaculately kept surroundings, your hosts are fluent in French and Italian and with nearly 50 years experience in the hospitality industry at home and abroad, guests can be assured that their expectations for good service and attention to detail will be guaranteed.

Chudleigh offers 10 en-suite bedrooms of which 2 singles are located on the second floor; and also a large family room (for 2 adults and 1 child - with discretion, accommodation for another child could be provided at an extra nominal charge), plus one double bedroom on the mezzanine floor. On the first floor there are 4 double bedrooms, two of which (with a 6 foot bed) which can be turned into twins (2 single beds). On the ground floor there is one double room (with a 6 foot bed) which again can be turned into a twin; and a family room with one double bed and a single bed which accommodates 2 adults and 1 child.

Rooms are serviced every day and a complimentary tray with teas, coffee, chocolate and biscuits is provided. A quiet and comfortable lounge is available to guest on the ground floor. We have no restriction for accessing Chudleigh, either during the day or at night.
