A warm welcome awaits you at Crich House Bed & Breakfast, which is a 4 Star Guest Accomodation with a Visit Britain Gold Award & Breakfast Award. Crich House has just been awarded two regional awards for the Best Breakfast and crowned the overall champion in the B&B category. The competition was organised by LOVE FOOD North Pennine Dales and independantly judged by food writers Irene Myers and Gilli Cliff. Crich House is situated in the beautiful market town of Barnard Castle & only 5 mins walk from the town centre.
Barnard Castle is a lovely traditional market town with lots of old interesting features. We have the Bowes Museum, The Castle Ruins all a short walk. Raby Castle gardens & deer park 6 miles away, High Force the largest waterfall in England 10 miles from Barnard Castle with lots of fantastic woodland walks.
Barnard Castle is a great base to visit the Lake District & the Yorkshire Dales as well as the great shopping places like Newcastle, Durham, Harrogate & York along with all the fantastic culture they have to offer.
