I came to Hartlepool for the weekend to support my elderly parents who were ill. I am a 50+ lone female guest. I telephoned ahead to confirm my booking and then checked in at 8pm. I was greeted by the host- Lee who offered me a free upgrade to a twin room with bath as the hotel was fairly quiet. I was put into a nice twin room at the very top of the house. The room was spacious and clean with modern furniture and a large bathroom with bath and over bath shower. Read less

Nearby is the Maritime Experience, a recreation of an 18th century seaport and the Historic Quayside where visitors can enjoy period architecture and shops. The hotel is within driving distance of Newcastle (40 minutes) and Middlesborough and is 25 minutes from Durham Tees Valley airport.
