Unlike other hotels / b&b's I have stayed in, the bed here was simply a delight to sleep in. No lumps, bumps or springs sticking in you, so a good nights sleep can be had. First class full english.
Dislikes:
Only one tiny thing (which is really my own fault) the bathroom had a soap dispenser over the wash basin and as I forgot to pack my own, there was no tablet soap for the shower. Stupid me!

Warm welcome, friendly hosts, quiet for a good night's sleep (don't know how it would be in busy holiday times though), good shower, nice breakfast served freshly cooked and hot.

Quiet, clean and handy for the town.Very nice breakfast.
Dislikes:
There was no soap/shower gel for shower/bath, or shampoo. The shower head was tiny. The tv was very small.

A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at LeVere House, owned and manages by Velda and Jerry. The house is situated a short walk from the seafront ,shops, restaurants ,pier and beautiful gardens.
We are ideally situated for visiting locations of interest such as the oldest recorded town in Britain, Colchester, which has a castle and museum. It also has a very popular Zoo.Retail therapy can be found in its many top shops.
The famous Beth Chatto gardens are a 15 minuite drive away.
We are 30 minuites drive from the beautiful Constable Country, with Dedham and Flatford Mill. 45 minuites will take you to Ipswich, on the river Orwell, with beautiful scenery and wildlife.
If you are feeling energetic, a walk along the seafront will take you to Frinton on Sea, and Walton on the Naze, where you will pass through Holland Haven Country Park.
We are 10 mins walk from the main line railway station with direct access to london,Stratford,for the Olympic games,2012.(1 hour 15 mins)
