Limetree House is a grade B listed building situated in Eastgate, behind Moffat High Street. Approximately 200 years old, the accommodation retains many original features. This accommodation has been graded at 4 Stars from the Scottish Tourist Board and 4 Diamonds from the Automobile Association. We have 6 bedrooms, all of which are ensuite, 2 of our bedrooms have full sized bathrooms, with bath and shower. In addition to 2 double rooms, we have 1 twin room on the ground floor, suitable for guests with limited mobility.
The bathroom has a shower seat, handrail and leg support cushion. A Superior twin room, the Master bedroom with king size bed and a family room with 3 beds offer a variety of rooms to suit all needs. All our rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated. All our rooms have TV's (Freeview), DVD players, tea/coffee making facilities and hairdryers. An iron and ironing board are available on request. Moffat is located in beautiful Annandale and Eskdale.
This area is home to fabulous scenery, coastlines, wildlife and great local food. Spend a day walking round the Devil's Beeftub, so called because cattle rustlers hid their beasts there. Come back to Moffat via the "Crown of Scotland" and Hartfell Spa, then finish the day with a juicy steak at the Buccleuch Arms Hotel, before falling asleep in our Master Bedroom.
