Stayed 2 nights whilst visiting nearby friends and relatives, this accommodation is very good but we found that the facilities let it down in that there was inadequate crockery and cutlery eg only 1 breakfast bowl, not enough plates, only 3 forks. Not on Oxford Road as described, but further out of city centre. No dishwasher, not enough crockery/cutlery for 4. Other minor irritations.

The Apartment is not advertised as being on Oxford road,it clearly states on the website the directions of both my apartments. I am sorry to hear on this occasion your standards were not met, sometimes plates get broken and cutlery goes missing I have now replenished the inventory and will make checks more regular to avoid this happening again. The website doesnt mention that this apartment has a dishwasher.I always say to my guests please call if you have any problems so they can be rectified.

It is well located for visiting the North Yorkshire National Park as well as Whitby, Saltburn, Yarm, Tyneside and Redcar Races. Excellent for Holidays, Short weekends or a business trip in the area.
Apartment rooms are newly and tastefully furnished, and well equipped for a comfortable and restful self catering holiday,short break or Business trip in the area. From the apartment it’s a 5 minutes drive to the city centre attractions, shops, restaurants and bars and a 5 minute stroll to local convenience shops, take-aways, and pubs.
The self catering apartment comes with parking at the rear of the building. Extra touches to make you feel at home include a selection of films, reading and music, games (inc Playstation 2), toy box and complimentary treats to welcome you on arrival.
Inside you will find tourist information literature books and maps of the local area.
