The house is set well back from the road in a fine elevated private position while enjoying sweeping views over the village of Coalbrookdale. Situated in the heart of the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site, Coalbrookdale is home to the Museum of Iron, The Historic Darby Furnace, and the Museum of Steel Sculpture. Located adjacent to the Museum of Iron are the Darby Houses, homes to Abraham Darby and many generations of his family. A number of historic woodland walks are found within Coalbrookdale, one of which leads to the Rotunda, from where one can see breathtaking views of Ironbridge and the surrounding gorge. Twenty minutes walk from Springhill is the town of Ironbridge, which is steeped in history, but also comes to life at night with its varied collection of pubs and restaurants. Two minutes walk from Springhill is the award-winning Coalbrookdale Inn and The Grove Inn with its associated restaurant The Fat Frog. The Telford International Centre and the town's commercial area are within a 10 minute drive from Springhill. Springhill is ideally suited for business or leisure visitors. On your arrival relax with a complimentary pot of tea or coffee as we welcome you to our home. At Springhill we have three beautiful bedrooms, two with en-suite facilities and one with its own luxury private bathroom. Rooms have flat screen TV's with Freeview and DVD players. Tea and coffee making facilities are available in all of the bedrooms as is wireless broadband for those with their own laptops. Guests are also welcome to relax in our residents lounge or in the garden, which overlooks Coalbrookdale. Hearty, delicious breakfasts are served in our period dining room. Breakfasts consist of a range of cereals and a variety of cooked meals (including a full English breakfast) prepared to order. Our check in time is between 4.00 p.m. and 7.00 p.m.
